The Bridge to Brent Cross shopping centre

Walking to Brent Cross shopping centre is not easy if you’re planning to take a stroll. Getting a bus there is simple enough, but considering it’s only 20 minutes walk away, a nice foot path would be highly appreciated. As it stands, the walk from Golders Green to Brent Cross requires navigating yourself over a very busy road, and the only way to do this is to travel across the bridge which is featured in the photo above. Now I know it doesn’t look dangerous when captured in a still frame, but during any time of the day, this bridge is a menace.
On one side you’re a metre away from extremely frantic traffic, protected only by a loosely fitted steel bar (which has been dented in places, probably by cars trying to intimidate the poor folk crossing). The other side is offers more ferocious traffic, with the only difference being that you have a 10 foot drop to contend with if you fall. Now those suffering from vertigo will pass out from all this excitement, but even those who have no fear of heights will feel uneasy at crossing this death bridge (as the locals call it). Even nature is against you up there as the wind levels are at their peak, trying to blow you off the side. Pure evil (but Brent Cross shopping centre is fairly nice, so it’s well worth the trip)
